Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I have been on the forum and wish everyone a happy Flight Day. I'm having a problem with my computer and possibly the program, it seems that I cannot load Edit Voice Pack for FS9, I get an error message that states the program is not loaded properly and does not have the correct pathway in the 'registry' and if I can make the pathway do so, if not try and reload the program. Also, I am now finding that when I pull to the gate, another plane either follows me into the same gate or pops up in the gate as I am pulling in. Is something wrong with the program or is my computer being hacked or is there a hardware problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated and most grateful for. Thank everyone is advance, Peace.

Not sure about your second question - but for starters I recommend you get and run the free Registry repair utility from the good folks at Flight1.This will allow you to correct the path in the registry very easily.You can get it here: http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library

Might not be the same problem, but this happened to me once and it turned out to be dynamic traffic in the addon scenery files. Cant remember which airport though.Dave

Opa, I did like you suggested and found the fix for the registry key, and lo and behold it worked first time out of the box.It's great to have friends like you who know this program and have experience with the vagaries of FS9. Thank you for the suggestion, now if I could only get the program to stop putting two planes in the same gate that would be a miracle. It's weird, I'll be taxiing into the gate and then all of a sudden there's another plane at that gate or another plane comes into that gate after I've shut down the engines. I'm stumped as to why this is happening. It's very weird when you come into the airport to find another plane at the same gate, or one comes in after you. Any suggestions, please let me know. Peace

Does this happen at all airports or just a specific one?And if it is specific, do you have an enhancement installed for that airport or is it a default airport?

Typically, 2 planes at the same gate is due to the lack of red hold short nodes at a runway exit in the AFCAD for the airport. If the user plane misses a hold short node, then it will happen to you too.Hope this helps,

Not a programmer at all - just an avid "user" of FS.As Tom suggested, such AI action is usually associated with missing hold short nodes at runway exits. It is doubtful (in my mind at least) that this would be the case in "all" airports as you say you experience.It is usually only seen at addon enhancements which include a new afcad that may be missing some hold-short nodes.Sorry I can't think of anything else which might be at play here.

No other ideas at the moment but a comment about "keeping up" with the subject.Are you aware you can set up your Profile settings so you received automatic e-mail notification of any responses to a post (thread) you are watching?That makes it so much easier to know what (if anything) is going on with a subject you are interested in.
