Greetings Terblanche!Some months ago the same thing happened to me on the "Letters to the Editorial Staff of AVSIM" forum. Same message from the moderator, same non-appearence of my posting, NEVER. There seem to be things that the moderators of the various forums here simply don't want to see published. Only last week on the MAAM Sim forum a poster mentioned that he would like to see a good Lancaster bomber made for FS2004. I replied that a pretty spectacular one is in the works (the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's "Lanc"), and within hours my reply was deleted. Of course: the upcoming Lancaster is not a MAAM product...It's just "one of those things", Terblanche. Simply shrug shoulders and move on.Be well!Jaap Verduijn.

I posted a problem, and that cleared through, but following that up the next morning, I discovered a fix. I posted my FIX to the problem to the [a href=http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=134&topic_id=19575&mesg_id=19575]same thread[/a], and that fix never saw the light of day. Luckily, I had the opportunity to [a href=http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=134&topic_id=19955&mesg_id=19955]post again[/a] about it, and that one was accepted.Granted, their forums are getting pummeled with traffic, so its probably easy for a moderator to miss a post or otherwise reject it.With the traffic that forum is doing, the moderation is causing headaches for people reporting, researching, and fixing problems. Posts are being approved in blocks of a dozen or more at a time, and that is pushing things back as far a 4-5 pages in less than 24 hours. God bless the newbie forum user who needs information! Had it not been moderated - or moderated in near-real time - repeat posts and multiple posts would be more avoidable (not eliminated, but it would make it easier to watch threads and track problems)Normally, their forums function ok. But with the crazy high volume of posts, the weaknesses of a truly moderated forum are coming out. I hate to preach patience with it, because I can't stand the moderated system - but that is what they choose, so I guess we have to live within it's bounds. I was not aware of the fact that SAA leased some A340-200s while they await the arrival of the A340-600s. I did post a message in this regard on the PSS forum as well. When and if it will be published.
