Hello Yesterday my pc had major surgery.New hard drive,new power unit.It works and thats GOOD.But! transferring fs and other files from old drive is proving dammed frustrating.One little thing thing....When I used to open a folder its address would be displayed at the top(useful for copying and pasteing)This a fresh install of XP now that has gone.I have tried the folder options but still can't get it back.Can anybody help please?Trying to get everything back to what it used to be is driving me NUTS I just want to fly.I know its not a sim question.AndyProbably the first of many questions.cheers

Hi againI had checked that ,but the "lock the toolbars" option was also checked(don't no why)but the address is now displayed.Just one small step for a reinstalling man.cheers andy
