To go with (just released) FIDG's MD-83 panel v1.0 (Finnish Designer Group).I installed FFX's DC-9 (FS2002 Aircraft-Douglas DC9-51 Delta 70'sAircraft by Stewart Global and Flight FX ) but it is apparently not compatible with FS2004 (the sim "freezes" upon loading the aircaft).Any suggestions for a nice GMAX McDonell bird that would work in FS2004 ?

Hi TwisterTry this : ffxsgamd80dal.zip in the AVSIM library.SGA's MD-80 done in Delta's new livery. Works great in FS2004, even though it's designed for 2K2. Available in several other liveries if you search for SGA MD-80.Hope this helps.Best,

It's a great new panel, but caution, the panel crashes FS9, particularly on exit. I'm sure a fix will be forthcoming.Lee

The panel indeed crashes with FS9....:-(It makes you wonder why don't people bother to do some beta testing before releasing their stuff...Annoying...

No No NO :-))It does work instead.I have the same problem; you choose the aircraft and when you press 'ok' it hangs/freezes.Give it 2-3 minutes and you'll se it working fine.You'll have to wait another 2-3 mins during the loading process as well.I tried some combinations and it's the panel with fs2004.p.s.HAS ANYONE FOUND A WAY TO FIX IT ????because the panel is great but why do we have to wait minutes to load??????cheersLuca

Well, I tried it again..waited 6 minutes for it to load...didn't work.Do you suggest we wait 45 minutes in order to load a flight with this panel ?

not really :-)you have to see it this way:it simulates the time between choosing the airplane and walking to the hangar ;)jokes aside it works on mine, it just takes up to 3 minutes to load the plane :(windows2000 profs2004md80 ffxfsuipc 3.08 registeredwhat airplane/specs have you got and... do you fsuipc and if so, is it registered?cheers
