October 28, 201015 yr there is the reserve line in the program but its 7100LBS and i cant enter it in the FMC you cant help me?Fuel is listed as a factor of 1000, so if you want a reserve amount of 7100 lbs, enter a 7.1 reserve in the FMS. This is the case in all Boeing and MD aircraft FMS. I am not familiar at all with Airbus. It makes things easier to do things this way, sort of like the concept of Significant Figures in chemistry, you calculate the accuracy of ZFW to only so far, which is hundreds, thus you enter a ZFW like 281.3 fuel is then entered likewise and the reserve.
