Yeah guys, I'm about to give up too. I don't think there's nothing wrong with my setup. I regularly defrag, clean up the registry, scan my drives with 3 different programs and then back up my system. I actually just did all that a couple of days agoGonna try a fresh FSX install now, could very well be all the addons, of course. I keep forgeting about the obvious, getting old fast! heheheEDIT: yep, freebird you're completely right there

Ok, fresh FSX install:1280x1024:Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg 18728, 300094, 31, 96, 62.407 1920x1080:Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg 18125, 300000, 37, 94, 60.417

Much better right! Im going to do the same, im sure REX is holding me down a bit...

I'll go ahead and make a flight using PMDGs 744x
any news on this chris?

Yeah sorry. I haven't got round to it yet. I'll try and get it done by weekend.

No hurries mate. If I can help you with it just let me know

Do you have the CS757, cause luckyman wants to participate, but doesn't have 744x.

No I don't but I can get it if needed. Not the biggest fan of CS planes here, but oh well.Is there something in your method that can't be used with PMDG planes?

Count me in. I made a simple test, with my OCed system, I don't want to downclock it, as I got it stable running now.But the settings are like you said Chris, FPS unlocked obviously, all addon scenery disabled, incl. UT, but REX and GEX textures installed, that I didn't change. Though for clouds I have "default" size of 1024 installed, not those HD-performance-eating-clouds. Also FSX Profil reset in Nvidia CP. My FSX is here generally for testing, not flying, that is what my FS9 is here for. No messing with that one ;-)Resolution 1280x1024 full screen.I can do tests with various addons, incl. 744x, don't own CS757 though. No 757 for that matter. But that ain't the point of the test, now is it? The point is scenery and graphical settings... maybe airports additionally, but that's about it. Aircraft usually eat up same amount of "energy".Results:Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg 24026, 300000, 56, 111, 80.087And this is what I get when I change to: 1920x1200 full screen and all settings Ultra High, again changed to Aniso+AA active and unlimited FPS.Result:Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg 9043, 300000, 15, 47, 30.143

Thanks Word Not Allowed, but a 4 sec run doesn't help much. Please check out the test instructions.Anyway, I'm with Ivan here, this is not telling us much. We need a hardcore test scenario with a PMDG aircraft and all the scenery addons

I already corrected it. I sadly took a wrong benchmark first. If can put a scenario together, I'm all for it!

Ok, thanks again :) but were those FSXMark07 runs with the default CRJ and all? the performance difference is huge between 1920x1200 & 1280x1024

The reason I was asking for CS757 was because luckyman wants to participate, but doesn't own the 744x but has that ac. Seems majority have the 744x so I'm sorry luckman. Lists and dazz, do you guys have AS Heathrow X?

UK2000 Heathrow here, but that shouldn't be a problem
