All of above. But, UT has been completely deactivated - in FSX everything unchecked except default scenery. REX2 left installed as it was - as I already said, with all settings at 1024.

If we are going to do these tests accurately, we are going to need to agree on an aircraft, scenery and settings in order to test accurately. AC options include 744x, CS757, LVLD 767. Sceneries include AS EDDF, EGLL Paris CDG, FlyTampa KBOS, FlyTampa Vienna. We need to decide these before bob starts doing tests with different settings to Jim.

Word Not Allowed,With all respect, I'm not sure how you think that aircraft do not impact performance as that is completely false and if you cant test it accurately enough just ask ANY developer or maybe other users.Also different texture sets will likely mess with your comparative scores along with countless other things, for one the AG is quite different from package to package so you should swap the default texture set back in.I notice know one has even considered the impact of clearing or not clearing out the cache or even fresh reboot before each run...Suggest to you all to post your FSX.cfg as was used for the "results", that way you can all identify what else is or isn't in common. Have fun!

Are you saying that UTX textures could be still cached in those tests even though Word Not Allowed disabled it hence effecting performance?here's my fsx.cgf for what it's worth
