While I have been enjoying whizzing about in this little gem, I have a query regarding the GPS. Is there any way to delete a waypoint? Say I have aflight plan from A to B and on the descent to B select an approach proc, the GPS adds all the waypoints on after the entry for B. This is making me overfly my arrival, then turn back to catch the approach points. is there any way to get rid of the B entry and continue down descent to catch the correct approach?Hopefully (for me) I am not being stupid and missing the obvious!!Having got to grips with the finals technique of not removing power until just about touchdown, I find this Carenado release to be just about as satisfying as the C185. Now if they had only put a little reflection on the gauge glass...Oh, does anyone else have a cabin temp selector that is stuck in one position?

Are you both loading and activating the approach as prompted sequentially by the 430? Alternatively, you could initiate a DIRECT TO for the first waypoint of the approach itself.

Aah. Just been loading it on my way to the last or penultimate waypoint. I'll give the activating a go. I have used the direct to but would prefer a method of deleting any unwanted points if possible. It seems the 430 on the Carenado product is not 'full featured' having read the Garmin manuals, but then it isn't advertised as such!Thanks..

You can activate the next way point, just press the middle button on the lower right knob so the cursor activates inside the flight plan list. Then press + and - to move down to the next waypoint in the list you want to go, press MENU and then ENTER when it says Fly --> or something.
