October 8, 200322 yr when I press the Y key for slew mode the aircraft just spins aroundI`ve tried recalibrating the joystick but It`s no good.can anyone tell me how to cure this problem please?thanks eric
October 8, 200322 yr Eric,You said that you've tried recalibrating your joystick. I'd like to take it a step further, though. Disconnect your joystick before starting FS next time. With the keypad as your slew controls, press "Y" to enter slew mode and see if you still spin. If not, you may have a physical problem with a joystick axis that sends control input when it looks/feels like it's at rest.Kevin
October 8, 200322 yr If you have ch usb rudder pedals that would be when they "turn off". Despite doing every fix I can think of-if I don't use mine for 15 minutes or so-they turn off-and the only way to get them back is to reboot. If I slew after they turn off I will spin.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
October 8, 200322 yr Mine does the same thing when my CH pedals are connected. If I disconnect them, I can slew as normal. Wish there was a fix for this.KP
October 8, 200322 yr I have USB pedals (not CH) and I see the same spin in slew mode, flying it works fine...Ulisses
October 8, 200322 yr go to your assignments and make sure all your joysticks, yokes and or pedals are not assigned for any slewing directions. Then you can assign the controller you want or just use the keyboard. My spins because of the throttle of the CH yoke. Basically I think ever controller has a slew axis andyou just want to remove the assigned axis of the controllers that you dont use to slew with or all controllers if you just want to use the keyboard.NP
