Fatal error message

Featured Replies

Suddenly I'm getting the dreaded fatal error message when I try to start FSX. The only thing I'v done since FSX last opened was installing PW_Sceneries_Vol_2. It install's with a self installer. after I un-installed it the fatal error message still comes up. Bellow is the Event viewer report. Will appreciate any help.EventData fsx.exe 10.0.61637.0 46fadb14 API.DLL 10.0.61637.0 46fadb58 c0000005 00057f11 15f4 01cb79328b360e7d F:\FS Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe F:\FS Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\API.DLL daee5bb1-e525-11df-aecf-00038a000015

I have just ran the repair option using the the FSX Deluxe disc, now a message comes up "Living World Settings in LWcfg.xml are invalid. Please delate LWcfg.xml from your hidden user profile directory." Searched all over, can't find this file. When I "OK" this message the fatal error message returns. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank's for your help. Problem solved. I decided to do a complete re-install of FSX/Acceleration but after un-installing just Acceleration I was able to run FSX, so after re-installing Acceleration every thing is back to normal.
