I am sure you will enjoy the realism of flying with real world ATC and the immersions that it adds to MSFS.:( As you fly, and questions arise, don't hesitate to ask any questions as you have in the past. There are RC team members and developers on this forum through out the day and will be glad to assist you.Now on your current question can you hide the adv display the answer is yes you can. To get this done, go to the FSUIPC menu and select HOT KEYS, on the lower right of this menu is a selection called Toggle FS Display ON/OFF. Click into the open area and choose the key you want to use. Then click on set and the key will be used to toggle the display on or off from inside FS. Thats it, I rarely have the display visible on my LDS 767, except to change assigned altitude or to change a waypoint. Hope this helps :( Good Flying Bob
November 2, 201015 yr Author Thanks a lot :( ..it worked..If I have some airports I want to hear the name for...instead of spelling T N C M...If want to hear the name St.maarten.. and a other couples of airports..Do I then have to send the the airport names to the support ????
November 3, 201015 yr The problem the huge number of sound files that would have to be recorded by all of our volunteer talent if we include hundreds of pronounced airport names. No decision has been made but what you ask has been suggested within the RC beta team. If is decided to include the most used airport names then how will it be decided and how many.Right now early in the RC5 development stages there are over 3,100 wav files for a controller and 3,000 for a pilot. Multiply these by the number of pilots and controller voices and that would be a huge load to record and process. RC uses real volunteers' voices, not synthetic, to record the basic wavs. RC has scripts that tell it what wavs need to be combined and played for each communication.Processing the audio to sound like real world communications is a daunting task with so many wavs to process.RC4 users are anxious for the RC5 release and there are higher priority issues to deal with. Perhaps in an incremental release of RC5 this might be accomplished.
