thanks, found it...I understand that the FS2k2 product will be updated to work in FS9 along with a limited FMC and available as freeware - THEN LATER - a Dash400 will be available (with fully functional FMC)? Is this how you read it?

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB
MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

Mike, Good question, that's kind of how I read it but after scoping both the website and the forum, it is not really clear to me. I have a sinking feeling that the Dash 8 (400 series) will follow the typical pattern of late...becoming a payware add-on like so much other previous freeware. But again I couldn't tell for sure from the website so am still hoping that someone else will tell me it's not true...regards,chris conklinHonolulu, Hawaii

The Dash-8 400 is not going to be "become" payware, it is going to be payware right from the first release, and it has never been suggested by anyone that it would be freeware. The Dash-8 300 is going to continue to be free, as it always has been, and will be updated for FS2004 soon. The updated 300 will include a working FMC.

Thanks for the link.

You're welcome Chris! And here's an update: Oleksiy just announced on his forum that the 300 update for FS2004 is in final testing, and may be released sometime this week. :)
