October 14, 200322 yr Does anyone know how to get rid of the visibility line that starts at about 60 ft above gound level when you customise the weather settings? I am sure its not a video card issue because when I use a weather theme I don't get this problem. Anyone have any ideas? BTW I have FSUPIC installed and registered but this has not helped. Colin
October 14, 200322 yr Hi Colin, could you please post a screenshot? I have no idea, what you are talking about.Wolfgang
October 15, 200322 yr This looks like you've got cloud at about 100ft ! What are the weather settings ? From the haze ahead, this looks like the sim is just providing you with the visibility you'd get with that weather. Try clearing all weather and see what happens.Alastair
October 15, 200322 yr Tried that and just about everything else. It seems to me as though the bottom of the visibility layer (whose base is shown as 0 feet in the vis tab) does not recognise the actual ground level, but a point some 50 ft above aircraft eye level. What is so frustrating is that this ONLY happens when I customise the weather. With weather themes the visibility can be lower than my screenshot but that line does not appear. The trouble with the weather themes is that the number of cloud layers causes stutters on my system Colin
