November 11, 201015 yr Downloaded my company 737-700 from swavirtual.com. I believe it's a Posky. I'm getting the message (unable to load aircraft or software, file rp733.gau), however if you continue to push the "ok" button in these message eventually I can get into FS9 and the plane loads, however, the radios, in my panel don't work. Are these two problems are one? Any ideas? Bob Bressert
November 11, 201015 yr Hello,Put this gauge in your FS2004 gauge folderhttp://www.4shared.com/file/PaOjY0Dg/Rp733.htmlBe sure also to have this file in the FS2004 module folderhttp://www.4shared.com/file/IKBdErCr/FSSound.htmlAnd have this stance in your FS9.CFG[OldModules]FSSound.dll=1Hope it's help ....Regards.Gus.
November 11, 201015 yr Author Well, Belga1, now I don't get any messages about rp733.gau not loading but I still can't use the radios. Bob Bressert
November 11, 201015 yr Well, Belga1, now I don't get any messages about rp733.gau not loading but I still can't use the radios.Hoi there! Can you describe in wich way you can not use the radio? the problem is change the frequency?Best regardsCub51
November 11, 201015 yr Well, Belga1, now I don't get any messages about rp733.gau not loading but I still can't use the radios.In you aircraft.cfg file make sure that the radios section is properly filled out:[RADIOS]// Radio Type=avail?,standby freq?,glide slope (Nav.1 only usually)?Audio.1= 1Com.1 = 1, 0Com.2 = 1, 0Nav.1 = 1, 0, 1Nav.2 = 1, 0, 0Adf.1 = 1Transponder.1= 1Marker.1= 1I don't use that particular gauge so you might have to change some of the 0's to ones if the radios have standbys...DJ
November 12, 201015 yr Author OK, I changed all my radio settings in fs9.cfg to the ones in ubersu's and everything works now, except the transponder. Bob Bressert
November 12, 201015 yr Glad the radios are working... I assume you turned the transponder on? I know that sounds stupid, but many of them do require that as a separate action. You also might check the electrical section in the aircraft.cfg for the default 737_400 and see how it compares to the plane you're working with...DJ
November 13, 201015 yr Author Hmmmm. I've never had to turn on a transponder. I'll check the electrical section with the default 734 and get back. By the way, I've checked the swavirtual forum and only one other pilot has reported this problem. I've posted this same thread there and have gotten hardly any responses which to me means no one else is having the problem. I've downloaded and installed this plane twice. Same thing. Could it be something about my computer since no one else seems to have the problem? Bob Bressert

Could it be something about my computer since no one else seems to have the problem?Given the infinite variety of hardware and software out there anything is possible. As I recall, I could never get that gauge to work (as in - instant CTD) in FS9 on the machine I had at the time and gave up on it years ago. It is possible that it calls some old 'C' library that isn't on your machine (I believe that gauge was originally written for FS2000). I use the PIC 737 merged with the 50N series models for my 737-300 -500 series flying and that works well for me. Anyway, do check the electrical section and see if there are differences...DJ
November 14, 201015 yr Author I replaced the posky panel file with the default 737-400 panel and it's working great. Bob Bressert
