November 11, 201015 yr My Gateway PC shuts off and reboots several times a week, only when flying the default Lear jet. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
November 11, 201015 yr Try running the orginal FSX cd and select thr 'repair' option.It could also be overheating, make sure all the air vents on your computer are clear of dust and obstructions, if there is a lot of dust then gently vacuum it out. You might ten need to take the sides off and blow it down with an air aersol. November 11, 201015 yr My rig was shutting down with FSX - and only FSX - but I gave it a surgical quality cleaning and everything is fine now.I took it outside, put the vacuum on reverse and blasted a quantity of dust out of that thing, including out of the video card, that you could not believe. ___________________________I'm just flying for the fun of it.
