Is the ground handling configuration of the default FSX Maule anywhere near the real thing? I can't believe it is from my experience with other tail draggers so far.Fantastic STOL aircraft but find that the turning radius on the ground gets me into the trees on some small strips.(CH USB yoke & pedals.)End up going into slew mode to park or line up for take off.Have been searching the forums for a possible configuration fix but nothing so far. Hoping someone here can help me out as I don't want to start playing around in unfamiliar cfg files.Found a fix for the starting torque problem, can use the panel starter now instead of Control E. Have you tried either setting up your pedals for differential braking or just use the default kb entries? (default is * and - on numpad)

open the aircraft.cfg file of the maule with notepad:look for this[contact_points]point.0 = 1, -15.7, 0.00, -2.42, 1500, 0, 0.36, 15.0, 0.3, 2.5, 0.7, 0.0, 0.0, 0Now change the 8 th figure (15.0) to 30 or 40. This is the turning circle.you can always revert back to if you dont like it.mine ispoint.0 = 1, -15.7, 0.00, -2.42, 1500, 0, 0.36, 35.0, 0.3, 2.5, 0.7, 0.0, 0.0, 0the more you increase it the tighter the turning circle, but do not go above 45. 35 really should be more then enough

Can you share your fix for the starting problem? Like others I've found on other forums, I go through the checklist, turn the key and after turning over a few seconds it stops. I haven't been able to find an answer. What did you do to resolve it?
