November 18, 201015 yr HiThis may have been discussed before but I've never used x-plane. Is it true that you need multiple machines to run multiple displays. I run multiple displays now with fsx, but I only need one computer. I'd like to try x-plane, but not if I need more than one machine to have window views.ThanksBobby
November 18, 201015 yr Not 100% sure but generally in these situations the video card/drivers are responsible for notifying the game that an extended resolution is available. In either case you can download the most recent demo of the x-plane.com website and check it out for yourself.
November 19, 201015 yr yup , you'll need one computer per monitor with xplane. With one computer you can only use multiple monitors to display a wide resolution of one view.
November 26, 201015 yr It is possible to use a second monitor to see the build in map funtion during flight.
November 30, 201015 yr Hi!You don't really need several computers to run X-Plane on e.g. 3 monitors.I'm using X-Plane with ATI 5870 Eyefinity6 card (6 video outputs...)For now using 3x 1920x1080 27inch monitors with bezel compensation. Works great.regardsarti
