I just loaded FS2Crew Airbus Special Edition on my Windows 7 64 bit machine (FSX). The Wilco/Feelthere software worked fine prior to this. After clicking Trust on all the popup's, FSX Stops immediatlely there after. No other clues...just stopsI have:1. Uninstalled and reinstalled FS2Crew Airbus SE...same problem2. Deleted fsx.cfg....same problem3. Rebooted several timesWilco 320 works fine after FS2Crew Airbus SE is uninstalled.Any ideas??Thanks, JimG

Hi Jim,I just purchased and installed FS2Crew for the A320 and I'm having the exact same issues you were having. Can you please tell me what you did to correct the problem. Thank you for your assistance.Cheers!Mike

Hi Mike,You probably need to disable DEP.There are instructions in the Start Center (and in this forum) on how to disable DEP.Don't forget to install the update from the FS2Crew Downloads page.Best,

Hi Byork,I did disable the DEP and it said it was successful. I am also starting up in the 2D mode for the cockpit as well. And it still crashes FSX. Now, what I have found out is that it is only crashing the A320 with my Air Canada livery. I went to the A320 Wilco livery and it is there and seems to be working correctly. I did not get to do the tutorial flight, but I was able to play around with the Before Start checklist and a little bit with the Flight Attendant buttons and they seem to be working. Just curious why it would only crash the Air Canada livery model. I also opened up the Wilco A321 model and it worked there as well. As if that isn't enough.... haha. How do you stop the Oxygen test? I pushed the button and it made the Oxygen sound, but then it kept on going and I could not figure out how to stop it. It was a bit annoying. Thank you for your quick response! And I look forward to using your product! Cheers!Mike

Hi Mike,Why it would only crash when using an Air Canada livery? Very hard to guess. I suspect the Air Canada texture or something is corrupt... You'd need to bring this to the attention of Wilco since they handle liveries.Best,

Hi again Bryan, Well I am a bit frustrated now. I tried again to use FS2Crew and it keeps giving me the fatal error when I try to load FSX.I un-installed it and re-installed it. I am down to 18 downloads left on the download link. I disabled the DEP and loaded the latest version of the Start Center. My cockpit is set to 2D and now I can't even get it to work on the Wilco liveries. So I am at a loss for why this is happening. I really liked what I saw when I was playing withit yesterday, but now I am back to square one and the fatal errors. Any suggestions??And thank you for your quick responses.... :-)Cheers!Mike

Did you install the FS2Crew update?Installing and re-installing likely won't make any difference.Try loading the default Cessna first, then load the Airbus. You could also try deleting the FSX.CFG file. It will rebuild when you load FSX.Sometimes that can help.Cheers,

Which update are you referring to? I updated the start center. Is that what you are talking about? I will try the FSX.CFG and see what happens. I can't load ANY aircraft whether I'm using FS2Crew or not. The last time I opened it, I had the Wilco A320 selected. I have the April 2009 Start Center loaded. My registry is fine because I get a green check mark when I do that. How can I load a different aircraft without it crashing on me? Thank you again for all of your help.Mike

Ok so I added the A320 SE Update 2. I got as far as having to click through all the security warning pop ups and when it tried to load it crashed again! So to summarize. I have disabled the DEP. I have April 2009 Start Center. I have loaded update 2, my registry is good and as far as I know the plane should load in the 2D cockpit. I can't find the FSX.CFG file you mentioned. I will look again, but I did a search and nothing came up. Could that be my problem and if so, where can I find the FSX.CFG file? Also, should I try to load FSX first and then click on the start center or should I open the start center and use the exit to FSX button. I've tried both ways and both end up crashing. I can't get to the Cesna to load it. My FSX won't open at all. And lastly I followed the instructions in the start center after I uploaded the Update 2 and pushed the "restore original files" first and then the "set config files" Is there anything else I can try???Mike

Hi Mike,FSX Config file is in your AppData folder (if using Vista/Win 7).Please do a Google search using the term "FSX.CFG" for more precise info. AppData can be a bit hard to find as I think it's a hidden folder. Also, you don't need load FSX via the Start Center. If you can't load the Cessna, something is amiss with your FSX. Deleting the FSX.CFG file (it will rebuild when you load FSX), should hopefully fix it.Cheers,

Hi Bryan,Just wanted to let you know that all of my issues have been fixed. The FSX.CFG file did the trick. I even have it working with my Air Canada livery. Thank you again for all of your help! Are there plans to add a new version in the future. I like the idea of the different cities in the cruz message. I have been doing a bit of flying this weekend and playing with FS2Crew. I really like it. You did a really good job with it...Cheers!Mike

Hey Bondi,Read through all the suggestions that Bryan gave to me in the posts. Make sure everything is run with administrator rights. Also deleting the FSX.cfg file fixed my problems. Also, not sure if you want to try this, but I have my FSX installed directly to my C drive. Good luck!!!Mike
