November 23, 201015 yr How do I go about making a sloped runway or for lack of better words a runway with slight grade. If I picked a stock scenery area that already has a slight upgrade it seems like I could create a flatten rectangle using a different altitude at each end, but then how do I lay down a paved runway on top of the flatten? would appreciate any help/jd

FSX runways, placed with ADE, cannot be sloped. That also goes for taxiways. Art

I have made a few airport sceneries with sloped taxiways and ramps into the water for amphibious aircraft. The only thing that will follow the contour of the ground is road vectors (not a great taxiway). Creating an object with FSDS is my method for sloped surfaces on which aircraft can travel. Art
November 24, 201015 yr Hello:The OP might wish to review this thread for some info on making a sloped flatten and draping a textured vector polygon on it (ex: a "road" texture): :( http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21969&highlight=sloped+flattenPS: Thanks for the great example via your nice scenery package, Art ! :Applause:Hope this helps ! :( GaryGB
November 27, 201015 yr Author Art-my apology for missing your first post about taxiways and GaryGB thankyou for the link-so between you both making finally getting an understanding and making progress/many thanks JD :(
