December 2, 201015 yr Hi everyone,After years of flatten files, excludes, object placement and AFCAD work I'm now getting into land class. I'd like to make changes/corrections to land class tiles in FS9 (for example changing a forrest tile that appears in the middle of a group of industrial city tiles). Could someone recommend a good, easy to use tool for me to get started with? I'd like to get a tool that is all inclusive rather than downloading a bunch of individual components from different websites. E-Z Lanclass??? SBuilder??? Landclass Assistant?? Will I need Microsoft FS9 Scenery or Terrain SDKs to change land class (they don't seem to be available anymore)? Thanks in advance for any help!!!Ron(still "upallnite" working on FS9!)

December 3, 201015 yr I only use SBuilder. I also use SBuilderX which can download Google Map and Bing sat photos. Once you "create map from background" in SBuilderX, you can use the .bmp it creates in SBuilder. SBuilder also has the option of using a landclass map if you are doing large-scale landclass. But you don't need that for small areas -- you can use a background "photo" map as a guide and plug in landclass and waterclass (many people ignore waterclass but you can improve water a bit if you take the time to do it, though IMO FSX gives better options for inland water).scott s..
