December 3, 201015 yr I am having a senior moment. I forgot how to program the controller to steer the nosewheel. I was using my older Sidewinder to steer but suddenly it's gone on the fritz. After repeated attempts to calibrate the sidewinder still will not work correctly. So I am back to the Saitek and I need some help. TKS Richard Spencer Churchill PVT SEL GYSGT USMC (ret)
December 3, 201015 yr Hi RichardIt sounds as though you need to 'check' the Settings box that connects rudder and aileron. Thereafter turning the aileron control to port or stbd turns the rudder (and therefore the nosewheel) whilst you are on the ground. I have separate rudder pedals so in my case the box is 'unchecked'.Hope this helpsRgds - Roger

December 4, 201015 yr Hi Richard - Look in Settings - Other Settings - Realism - Flight Controls - Auto Rudder. Tick this box and save. As a second thought if it is a calibration problem then there is a facility to calibrate your controller (once connected) under Settings - Other Settings - Controls - Calibration but I suspect you are aware of that.Rgds - Roger
