December 4, 201015 yr Has anyone put RealityXP Flight Line T + N gauges into the Duchess? I am have difficulty replacing the HSI that came with the plane.
December 4, 201015 yr I seem to recall that Geofa did that. Might want to PM him.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

December 4, 201015 yr Load up the plane in FS, then alt tab out, look in the panel folder for the Duchess and find the config file, then make a copy of it and put it somewhere safe (i.e the desktop or somewhere), then open up the original config file in Notepad, find the gauge you need to adjust down the list in that config file and then make a small adjustment to the dimensions value, then press Control+S to save the change, then alt tab back to FS and reset the flight, the gauge should update upon reset and reflect the change you made, so you can observe how much you need to refine the dimensions based on that observation. Rinse and repeat until you have it fitting properly.Should get it with about three tries I reckon, which depending on how fast FS resets your flight, will take maybe five mins, so do it at an airport with no fancy scenery.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

What do the set of numbers stand for?Example of the Duchess panel.cfg:gauge09=jf_duchess!Alti_2, 2,314,192,195gauge10=jf_duchess!Alti_1, 227,101,192,195gauge11=jf_duchess!Fuel-Selector, 431,0,79gauge12=rxpFLT!KI525, 199,315,192

December 4, 201015 yr Probably a moot point now Geofa has PM'd you, but... The numbers are the coordinates where the gauge is placed in the cockpit and the dimensions of the gauge. Just change one and you will see what is what, you can always undo any stuff ups by looking at your back up copy.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
December 4, 201015 yr A heads up to the budding panel.cfg artists out there. Instead of resetting the flight, it is much easier to just reload the plane, that way if you have zoomed and panned onto the gauge in question it keep the view on it and doesn't reload all of the scenery as well.In the Settings-Controls menu there is command listed for "Aircraft Reset", just assign a key combo like Ctrl-Shift-R to it (it's unused BTW), and you can do panel mods MUCH faster!
