December 5, 201015 yr I think it was a reply to another user Ron, can't remember exactly the topic now.

December 6, 201015 yr Author Buried deep in one of his many many posts, he states " use an older driver if running an older graphic's card, as the latest drivers may not perform well" words to that effect.I have been using the 197.45 driver now for 6 months and would not change it for quids. Also you can use Nhancer with this series driver. So I followed Nick's advice and tried the older driver, and have not looked back.I think anybody using the GTS 8800 should try this 197 series if they are experiencing issues, like your self.Edit: Installing the latest driver for anything, does not mean it is going to work well, or fix issues you maybe having, there is too many variables, and also any settings in your Bios that are set incorrectly, will not be adressed by a driver update.I would suggest you drop a PM to Nick with your Bios settings Ron and make sure everything is sweet. Otherwise, you will spend more time at the computer shop than flying.CheersJulianMy computer guy is asking me to go to you for opinion on GeForce GT220 and Asus ENGT220 cards. Thanks,Ron Bring back Chief Illiniwek!University of Illinois.
December 6, 201015 yr Author I just read a review of the gt220 and it was not very favorable. What would be a reasonable upgrade over my 8800GT if I need a new card? Thanks,Ron Bring back Chief Illiniwek!University of Illinois.
