More than interesting FS2004 comparison: ATI vs NV

As is ATI on the 9600 line (including the now "older" Pro). Actually, they may still be with TSMC, but I know they've contracted IBM for their current or future fab. In any case, the 9600 series is 0.13 and the new 9600XT is 0.13 using low-k dielectric, as is the 5700.Take care,Elrond

Machine performance is made up of much more than the graphics card and processor speed. RAM quality and speed, the motherboard, the chipset; all play a vital part in system performance.I get better than 30fps almost always with sliders maxed out. That's with 4x AA and 8x AF.Jim

I don't know. For me, Halo is more of a slow moving game, but that's probably because I spend a lot of my time cowering in corners with wet drawers.Jim
