This is unbelievable. You download this new paint, and to open the aircraft you have to click on a series of webpages in Turkish to get a "password" it reeks of malware, and even if you are brave enough to go to the suspicious webpage to get the "password", it is never given. Then on the webpage there are many comments about how the password is not available, etc, and then messages from the creator that there is some complicated settings problem... etc...This is an absolute violation of AVSIM rules and the file should be removed, this person banned, etc.zip file in question: http://library.avsim...php?DLID=154846 email address of Neil Wing who has done this: [email protected]

I'll pass that along to the library guys. I think Momtchil can look into it.

Jeremy "rightseater" Fletcher

rightseater, thanks for letting me know about this.I've just downloaded the file and indeed you do need a password to unzip it - Which is unacceptable, the uploader has also included POSKY aircraft files in the password protected folder. This seems like a blatant attempt to encourage traffic to the website supposedly giving the password. The author does not make this clear in the provided readme.txt either and has also provided three zips zipped inside each other (with the passworded zip being the last one) so whoever approved and posted the file had no way of knowing this - if they did they would have never approved it and allowed the file in AVSIM Library.I've deleted the file and contacted the author. Anyone finds other offending files by the same author let me know ASAP. Needless to say any more new files uploaded from this author in this manner will result in a permanent ban from AVSIM.Many thanks 'Yan_and_Justin' for bringing this file to our attention.

Thanks. If you stumble on any more password type zips from them let me know.
