Dan,same here, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a base pack to be installed first, which isn't in the library yet. Let's wait and see, what an awsome airplane!!Cheers,Petehttp://members.aol.com/pzsoulman/myhomepage/logo.gifAthlonXP2000,AbitKX7-333(latest4in1),512MB/2700SDRAM,WinXP,DirectX8.1,Geforce3TI200(128MB)(Det.30.82),SBlive(WDM5.1.2601.0)

heyi dont know about the strobes, but there isnt a base package, just download a repaint, and if you want the VC download the VC textures if you dont want VC you only have to download the repaint.

Great plane guys!Truly amazed at what you all can put out there for free!I do have a question though. I d/l'ed the AA and NWA planes however, according to the install instructions there is supposed to be a guage file and effects files which don't appear to be included unless I am missing something. Also, the sound.cfg aliases a sound file I don't seem to have can you all help? Thanks!

Heelo, you need to download the 757 effects from AVSIM..they dont seem to be up yet but soon will be when the managers upload :)

oops forget what i said heheI didnt know it too But there is also uploaded an effect file, but thats not online yet, hope it will be soon that includes beacon, strobes and gauge etc PS Ben and i posted same time hehe

Great job guys, she looks absolutely smashing :)One question (might as well put them all at once to get that over with), is there a sound package coming out as well? I noticed the sound.cfg is aliased to "alias=SoundsRR-RB211-535-E4". I would bet alot of people is flying silent with that if they dont notice that line lol :)

Has anyone flown this plane at dusk? My frame rates go from 27 too 5 and 6 at dusk with this aircraft, I can't help too think that I am merely missing a texture or something.. But it flies great in the dark and during the day, and my other aircraft all fly well all the time... Ideas?

Hi Ben. I got the posky_757_vc_127053.zip. I installed the textures into the Texture folder of my 757 posky's. I did the mod to the cfg to change the model to VC. When I load the VC in the planes it says to get the textures at Avsim. There are two panel.cfg files (panel.cfg and panelnew.cfg). Do I install one of these and overwrite the existing panel.cfg in both planes? Which panel.cfg is to be used? There are no instructions on what to do with the panels. Thanks for a GREAT plane. Regards, Bob.

I don't get the strobe either. There is an entry for it in the aircraft.cfg in the electrical and lights sections. I have the Posky 757 strobe effect in the Effects folder. Still no strobe. Maybe Posky will fix it in an update. Bob.

THe effects files are now for download on AVSIM the file you need is effects.zip and that will fix all strobe/lighting problems etc. You also need to redownload the VC texture package which now includes the gauge and correct panel.cfg. That file is called posky_757_vc_127053.zipEnjoy!

Hi John. Thanks but there are no files in the zip. I have the vc file that gives the effects and the posky_757_strobe is in it. The strobes still don't work for me. Regards, Bob.
