Hello first of all!When I start running flight simulator I got a massange that flight simulator is unabel to find direct X on my computer! I have to update the newest version on http://www.microsoft.com/directx now!Well I did so and got the massage: "The newest version of directx 9 is already installed"What is the problem?Any suggestions?

That's strange. Try downloading the complete redistributable DirectX package and install that.If you use Windows7 you might also have to turn UAC off (user account control) and install as administrator.Here's the link: DirectX redist

Smells like a Windows Update gremlin?If you have automatic updates enabled, you sometimes get updates you don't want. This often happens with graphics card drivers. It's possible that something similar happened here if the problem came out of nowhere and two of you are experiencing the same thing.

Try Start/run/DxDiag (XP) or Start/search/DxDiag.exe (Vista) and see if that shows up any problemsDave
