December 15, 201015 yr I still think that nothing beats Tim Metzinger's tutorial as introduction to operating and flying 737NG is concerned. It is no longer super easy to locate its link but with some effort and searching these forums you should be able to find it. Michael J.

December 15, 201015 yr That would be this then: http://www.b737.org.uk/nnp.htm#ChecklistsYou can see the duty split for most things in the explanatory notes. Also note that these days what used to be referred to as the 'Pilot Not Flying' is now referred to as the 'Pilot Monitoring' in order to emphasise the fact that just because he/she is not on the controls, the job involves more than simply sitting there doing the Daily Telegraph crossword puzzle until it's their turn to fly a sector.Note that crappy stuff such as checking the exterior (especially if it is raining) or anything that involves standing about whilst hydraulic fluid or jet fuel drips onto them or oil/brake residue or other messy stuff all over their uniform, is usually the job of the crew member who has been at the airline the least amount of time/is less senior in rank.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
