Hello againI have again some trouble with RC.When i'm at the airport and want to do a flight and when i call for the clearence i just don't get an answer. But after some time the programm shows me the button to conform the clearence and so on. This happens always i want to fly. But that's not the onest thing: In flight i get almost no transition receved from ATC. There is only the button to comfirm the massage. (So it is like the massage is receved, but it isn't told. -> the sound files are not there)For example: Today i was trying a flight from EDDM to EDDK. As i asked for the clearence i didn't get something to hear, but the normal screen (which shows up after the controller has answered) appears. After conforming the clearence (The simulated Captain/First Officer can do the readback even though no massage of the controller was receved) i want to get the taxi clearence which i'm getting normally for the runway 08L. on my way down to the runway again nothing to hear from the controller, but the normal screen after the massage appears. the takeoff clearence works normally again.After takeoff i don't get a clearence, but just the normal screen after the clearence would be given again. so i can call Munich departure. When i call it than i get a normal answer. When i shall cann munich canter i don't get the massage telling me that. When i actually cann 'em i get a normal answer from the center controller and so on...When it goes to approach i don't get the message telling me the instruction what to do. i can just conform it and get my instruction during the conformation massage of my own flightcrew. if i miss anything i have a problem becasue i can't get these information again.When i contact the tower i'm not receving any massege. not even the conformation that they got my transition.To summarise the whole thing: Everytime when ATC should call me on their owm (so not with me sending a message to them) i can't hear what they are saying. But when i make the call to them and ATC must confirm my message i get a normal answer. Cann someone tell me what's wrong with the programm so that it does ###### like that??? i've spend about 50€ for Radar Contact and now after 2 weeks it doesn't work propably anylonger? Than can't be right :( ! So please give me a solution for this!!!

do you have display text checked in the rc options? if so, uncheck it.if that doesn't help, then make a log, instructions pinned to the top of the forum, and duplicate the problem. then send me the logdo you have autotune on contact checked? if not, are you tuning each frequency manually before you start the communications?jd

The display text marker is unchecked and has been unchecked all the time.Secondly I always use the the option with the 1 button so the one saying "press 1 to act and contact".I'll send you the PM with the log tomorrowregardsEmi

I have a similar problem to this thread, so instead of creating a new one, I'm adding onto this one. I've also searched this forum for answers, but I haven't found any specific fixes that may help. My problem is similar, but in my case, I get most announcements with voice, but only a few don't have voice, and as the original writer of this thread said, I get only the text to reply to whatever was said. This happens almost in every flight, but not in all flights (a few are perfectly normal.) It happens not only when I'm on the ground, when FPS may be in the teens in some heavy spots, but also in the air, when FPS are a solid 26. Frames are locked. FSUIPC is payware, and the rest of my rig is on my sig. This happens not only when I use ASE, but also when I use FSXs native weather generation. check your sound card settings. if they are set for some super-d-duper high def quality setting, try reducing it to cd quality, and try againdo you have a sound card? or is the sound coming from the mother board. sometimes the sound card or motherboard isn't capable of playing wav files from two different programs, simultaneously.i'm assuming you hear fsx sounds...jd

Thanks JD for your reply. I use the integrated sound from the motherboard. I do have an external sound card (M-Audio, for recording purposes), and I may use that one again. I never had this issue back when I used the external audio device, but I upgraded my system to Windows 7 several months ago, and for some reason didn't use the external audio device. I'll try it as well as check the sound settings, as you suggest, and report back.Thanks,Forgot to add: yes, I do hear FSX sounds.
