So people have a cool home cockpit setup for fs2004 and their AI traffic is not the same on the different screens? There has to be a program out there that synchs it....
June 9, 201411 yr Radi, I do in fact have AI sync with FS9. However, I am not using Wideview. I gave it up for this issue as well as a couple others. In the 757 sim, I have a very powerful PC that I had custom built. Within, it has two graphic cards installed. A 560ti I believe and a 9800GT. Attached to one DVI output of each card is a Triplehead2go digital edition for a total of two Tripleheads. Attached to the other DVI output of each card are additional monitors. In total, this one PC distributes 5 out the window FS9 views, Left, Forward Left, Forward, Forward Right, and Right view. The 3 front views are running off the T2go attached to the Ti card while the side views are attached to the T2go connected to the GT card. The remaining outputs, 1 from the GT T2go, and each of the cards second DVI outputs, provide displays for the Capt's LevelD 767 EADI / EHSI, EICAS, and CDU display. The sim does not have a FO side. One thing I will mention is that I do not use the Ti T2go in surround mode. In other words, I do not stretch the forward display across 3 screens. Rather I open 3 separate windows, Forward Left, Forward, and Forward Right and place them accordingly. The reason is that by stretching the forward view across three monitors causes a washing out effect on the sides as well as it makes it difficult to mate to the sides. Frame rates have only become an issue on a couple of occasions. And in both instances I found offending airport textures to be the culprit. Once converted, (see separate thread here somewhere) all was ok. Now I do network a second PC which via WideFS run the weather, Radar Contact, and instructor station software packages. I know this sounds confusing. If you like, I will provide a graphical illustration which may getter explain the setup. Point is, I have corrected other problems as well as fixed the AI issue you were inquiring about. Pretty cool to see a plane cross your front windows on takeoff and climb out your right/left window.
June 11, 201411 yr Radi, Added a link showing a schematic of my setup which easily syncs AI traffic. Just a note. You could never use this setup with FSX. Only FS9. http://757simulator.com/images/gds.pdf
