I have started getting this wierd issue, whereby the plane is all black on startup. It can be remedied by swapping to another jet and then back. Any idea why this is and how to stop?Cheers, Mark

Are you referring to your VR F18E? Perhaps in cold start mode at night? Black cockpit, or the whole fuselage is black? You have been flying the VRF18E longer then I. I assume youhave on occasions had it start in cold startup mode. Where of course one would expect a totally black (nothing lit) inside the cockpit. So if one where to swap out to another aircraft, then back, it probably saves the "on conditions" and the F18 would then be perhaps fired up, at least with cockpit lighting etc.. Perhaps I am totally off my rocker on this one. So ignoreif it don't make any sense.Hope someone can provide an answer.George

Perhaps the best solution would be to start from the default Cessna 172SP from the beginning, from any default airport (actually, this technique also works with an RAF Marham scenery), with then the flight being saved, and a switch to the desired aircraft. Dave.
