Tin Mouse and FSNav question

Featured Replies

Hello AllI have the latest version of TM installed and running. On a couple of test flights I notice that FSNav(which I have set to full auto bar speed control) on other aircraft when i reach BOD will begin to automatically control the descent. of my plane.however with the TM this is not happening. I did notice whilst trying to find a solution in the manual or forums that to descend you have to turn of ALT hold in the AP. If when i reach BOD in my FSNav plan I turn off ALT HOLD will my aircraft descend as other models do automatically under FSNAvs vertical control.Cheers to allAndrew

Have re-loaded part of last nights flt (autosave) and it does seem as though I do have to disengage the ALT HOLD (not disengage the autopilot) to get FSNAV Vnav. It was rather a quick test so not completely sure. I will have to try another flight.cheers Andy

Use of external programs like FSNav trying to control the FS autopilot is likely to get messy, as the TinMouse's autopilot is doing the same thing in the background. I can't even guess what the behavior will be with those interactions going on. You're on your own in uncharted territory there, I'm afraid.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
