a small problem at take off

Featured Replies

Hi Bryan,i use many versions of FS2Crew, what a great product, thank you! With the MD11 freighter version i have a small problem. At take off i press the green button and the FO calls "engage profile and navigation" but he doesn't do this. So i switch profile and navigation manually. Is this correct so? And at engine start i get the "15% call" always later (near 28%) and the "45% starter..." too. No big problem for me but i have noticed that.Happy Christmas,Chris

Hi Chris,Check your keyboard assignment for 'profile and nav'. Make sure it matches that required by FS2Crew. Also, there is a chance another 'window in focus', like a Squawbox text entry window, could have 'intercepted' the keypress FS2Crew transmits.Engine Start Calls... Unfortunately we can't read the engine parameters in the MD-11 very accurately (no SDK), so we have to make guesstimates. You'll find that on on a standard day (15 C, 2992) the enigne start calls will be more accurate.Best,
