Problems decompiling

Featured Replies

Hi guys,I've just installed Bangkok (VTBS) into FS9, and I'm attempting to get FS traffic to arrive and depart etc.I believe I can use TTools to decompile the traffic BGL file(s), then load the flightplans text file into Wordpad and use Search and Replace to change all instances of the old airport's ICAO code to VTBS. I'm having a few problems with the decompile. I can't seem to get the program to locate my traffic files. I've read the readme file but it doesn't seem to help. On the right hand side there are no traffic files showing.I'm already using MyTraffic AI.Cheers,Ben

Your decompiled txt. files must be in the same directory as TTools (as per the manuel)your compiled traffic bgl. files are in: flight simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery (as per the manuel)vololiberista

That's exactly where my TTools says it is looking (according to the text box underneath where the traffic files should appear), however no traffic files are appearing in the right hand box.I must have traffic files as I have AI traffic flying round all over the place! Would they be anywhere else? I haven't moved them but I have MyTraffic installed.Cheers,Ben

I believe that MyTraffic installs its traffic BGL's into its own folder. Look in your FS Scenery Library for a My Traffic scenery layer. Click it, and choose Edit Area. You should see the folder they are located in.Then use the File menu in TTools to go to a User Defined Traffic File Folder, and browse to the My Traffic scenery subfolder.Hope this helps,
