MD 11 with Heathrow Xtreme v2

Featured Replies

Greetings to you all and a Happy New Year,I am just getting into the MD 11 and have also downloaded the UK2000 Heathrow Xtreme version of Heathrow. In the PMDG Tutorial Flight the startingpoint is gate D50 at Heathrow. With the Xtreme software the gates have all been renumbered. Does anybody know how to locate where the original D50 was/is now located? has it been renumbered or am I worrying too much ??Happichap

Hello Happichap,Firstly, please sign your full name in your post as per forum rules. In my opinion, it doesn't really matter where you start the tutorial flight.. As long as you find your way to the correct runway, as that is where your flight plan starts. Have fun with the MD-11, you will soon fall in love with it :-) I know I did!

Hi,yeah, it doesn't matter...but if i remember correctly it was on Terminal 2, so something from 209 or 210...one of those two gates is bigger, let's start from here...(very near to RWY27L)Cheers

Hi,I agree with Paolo Fumagalli (sono d'accordo con Paolo essendo italiano anch'io):I performed my first flight by using Heatrow extreme at about (if I well remember) stand 240 or 246 and there, w/o having charts near me I've found easily my way for Rwy 27LCiaoAndrea

Yeah, so i remember (guessed) right...Big%20Grin.gifCheers
