January 1, 201115 yr Commercial Member I don't know how many others here have the CS707 (FSX), but I just got it and for the most part it's a magnificent bird. I'm having one problem that's driving me a little batty, though: a misbehaving flaps system. When I try to lower the flaps from 0 using either the keyboard command for it, the button for flaps_incr that I've set up on a controller via FSUIPC, or with the flaps switch on my GoFlight LGT module, I get the same weird behavior: the first time I press the button, the flaps handle in the VC twitches a little, but doesn't actually move down one notch. I hear the flaps sound, but there's no indication visually that they've moved. The second press of the flaps switch engages full flaps 50. From then, each time I try to raise the flaps using a button or keystroke, the lever comes up to flaps 40 on one press, then goes back down to 50 on the next. There seems to be no way to actually raise the blighted things in any other way besides grabbing and dragging the actual handle in the VC, which is a little cumbersome on climb-out.Has anyone else had this happen? I asked on the CS support forum as well, but it's pretty lightly trafficked over there. I'd love to fly this puppy some more, but this problem is taking some of the fun out of it. January 1, 201115 yr I have never had an issue with the flaps but, I can't say I've used them the same way as you. I have them mapped to an axis via FSUPIC and use a lever off my quad to manipulate them. If you have a free axis you could troubleshoot it this way? You don't have any conflicting control settings on that switch or shortcut that may be causing the issue? I followed the CS forum pretty close over the last month or two and I don't remember many people having issues with the flaps, hope you get it sorted and Happy New Year to you! RE Thomason Jr.
