Jesus cfg rebuild

Featured Replies

The [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570.0] section should be unique, there are two or more sections with this name. This is what Im getting when I attempt to use the above program. I was go to go with my old 8800 card, but when I installed the new 570 it kicks out the above error. The card does show up on the cfg.Anyone else have this problem? :(

Post your fsx.cfg file here. It is possible you have a duplicate section, just like the tool is telling you. If that is the case you need to remove it manually.

I saw a similar problem with my 570 at first, there were two entries in the CFG - no idea what caused it though. I rebuilt the CFG from scratch and it was fine.

I found the dupe all the way at the bottom of the config,my old fart eyes didnt see it.Thanks again to all the great guys on here.

I was going to use the cfg rebuild tool, however, the lowest the options go for the video card is Series 9. I have a Nvidia Series 8800 GTS 640 mb. What do I input for that or does that mean the cfg tool won't help me with that lower card?
