HELP BLUE LAND AREA

Featured Replies

B) B) I have just purchased a new computer with Windows 7 and FSX is running in (x86) what ever that means. All of the land areas are blue. So you get trees in the air, which should be on a hill. The buildings etc are showing ok.I tried to put a picture of it in the thread but couldn,t get the hang of doing it. I hope some on can please help.Thank youPaul :( :( :(

Hi Paul, did you install FSX into C(or whatever your drive is called):\Programms(x86) ?If yes, the onliest way to get this prolem fixed is a complete reinstall of FSX and an install into annother directory, but not in any (x86) folder. This problem with FSX in an (x86) directory in an Windows 7 related. The best way is, if not none, that you partition your HDD. Give the OS arround 150GB and the rest for FSX and all other progamms. Than install FSX in the other partition, but not in the system one. I hope, this helps, if not, just write.

Best regards, Steffen

Did you copy the FSX folder over to the other driver or how did you solve the problem? Please share your solution. Might help other simmer with the same problem.

I don't get it. I installed my FSX into a (x86) twice now on two different computers and never had a single problem. What issue does (x86) cause?

It does´t cause this problem every time you install FSX into a x86 folder, but it CAN cause this particular issue. It´s different from system so system.
