Since you are in FS2K2, if you can locate the last freeware version of FSUIPC, version 2.974, and you do not require a later version required by add-ons, you will find it can be set to add turbulence and icing in clouds, wind turbulence, and wind gusts.

Active Camera is free for FS2002 as well... or at least it used to be. I think the older versions are still around somewhere. It doesn't cause turbulence, but it makes the effects of it much more realistic.
