Screenshots are not enough for me to show the actual fps in FSX.... so... I made a video to share my performance increase using the tweak shared by PingPong... (Thanks man!!!)...During the recording with fraps I was getting around 13~15 fps... that means that without fraps my average fps were around 24~28 in heavy areas using Orbx's scenery (Portland and Seatle)...If anyone can do the same thing to show the performace increase it will be wonderful...

Remember to check my settings in the video (UT2 and other addons)...P.S. I forgot to mention that the Cloud Draw Distance in FSX was 110mi/176km...Dexter...

Hey Dexter,What does your FSX.cfg file look like? I just added an AMD Radeon 6970 and I am getting all sorts of scenery shimmering and moire effects on buildings and in the distance. I didn't see anything like that on your vid. Starting to sort out what tweaks I need to do.Speaking of the vid - just a suggestion. I think it would make more of an impact if you showed a Before and After of the same flight with the FPS being displayed. Also, I would shoot it with an outside-of-game video camera (not Fraps)to really show off the performance and show what your sliders look like. With all do respect, the way you displayed it, without Fraps showing FPS and the stuttering I would be saying to myself what I saw was not that impressive considering your specs.
