When it was released you were able to notice some issues with the autopilot in regard of response and stability. Now after the updates I'm enjoying it a lot. There is a learning curve but once you figure out how it works you'll be a happy camper... If you decide to purchase the heli try flying it from SBJR or SBCB to the numerous oil rigs as shown in Flightradar24.

I'm just curious if there is a way to scale down the size of the runway and taxi lights 3d model in FS2020 or FS2024. They are too big.

I'm an aircraft hoarder so I barely have time to fly them... when flying airliners I try to keep flights within 2 hours with or without time accel... My top choices 2020: SWS Kodiak, Carenado Cessna 185 - WYMF5 - 182Q - 337H, Cowan AS350 - EC130, Asobo ATR, Fenix A32X, PMDG 737, Classic Hangar Klemm KL 25, FreedomFox, Asobo DC3 and Blackbox Islander

It's a good thing that with SU1 a lot of issues and stability problems were fixed... that said... there are a lot of issues with the sceney starting with the amount of trees all the way to satellite imagery. Flying in areas outside NA and Europe the satellite imagery is not as good as 2020 IMO... if you look carefully you will be able to find very low res patches, for example the area around MPCE... That's why I'm sticking with 2020 a little longer.

I've been using Tobii for around 2 years and it works well... but... Just of pure curiosity I bought El Gato Facecam Mk2 webcam and Beam Eye Tracker few days ago to compare them.

My first wireless tracker was from Grass Monkey, and it worked well. The issue is that the device attached to the headband is a bit heavy. Later I discovered Tobii and never looked back. As said before in the forum, if you use a TV as a monitor (as I do) or have a wide one, then you can put it on a mini tripod... works like a charm... On their website, they sell a clip to attach the tracker to a tripod. Here is my setup... it can be adjusted pretty much any way you like..

We need to wait around a year for stuff to be sorted out. Right now 2024 is running effortlessly using in the worst case 31GB of memory and the smoothness is awesome. We'll see if the 64+GB is a must when the marketplace becomes available. (stutters POV).

I have been using Tobii Eye Tracker 5 for a while together with Opentrack with great results using MSFS, DCS and IL2. No issues with sunlight behind, a common issue with TrackIR and similar devices. There is a tripod plate in their website so you can use it with virtually any mini tripod with a 1/4" screw.

I think I got the solution. If you are using FSRealistic go to the Effects tab and go to prop wash... In movement there are two options... 'elevator and rudder' and 'fuselage'... disable 'elevator and rudder' and you are good to go...

I'm having the same issue. When it's not moving you can't control elevators and rudder (steering)... everything else is fine.. after you apply power and get to an unknown speed everything works again... I did try using SPAD.NEXT and a control profile within MSFS... no luck... Workaround: If you put MSFS in a windowed mode and click outside the window everything works as it should...

DOF reality H3 looks really good... BUT if I were you I probably push it and get the H6... If I can pay $3000 for medium tier, then $5200 + shipping is a no brainer for top tier and have full motion... It's like if I get a Monstertech MFC Chair.. sooner than later I'm gonna wonder what feels like to have a MTS cockpit... I'm not good giving advice... 🤣... but at least I can tell you what I would do...

I jumped from win 8.1 to 10 yesterday and I must say I'm very happy with it. All my addons are working fine (using FSX:SE)... Even the Leveld 767 is working fine (landing light switch struttering continues) ... The only thing I noticed is that it takes a bit more to load textures with lvld.dll loaded to your FSX (need to do more testing)... If you use 4096 textures flying around Orbx PNW with TG KSEA and a PMDG 777 texture loading takes way more time...At the moment I'm using 1024... Using the same scenario sliders to right except water using ASN and without AI traffic everything is very smooth with 24~26 FPS at the runway inside the VC. By the way... Lots of people are complaining about Win 10 windows sizes and big fonts.. That can be fixed.... Go to Display Settings and there is a slider that says 150%... Just move it to 100% and you'll be a happy camper...

Hi... I'm using a hdmi cable from the video card to the receiver... The gtx 780ti and many other nvidia cards use the "nvidia high definition audio driver" that comes with the driver. The thing is you have to select in audio devices the video card as yor primary audio device. When you do that the receiver will detect the audio and will change its decoder depending on the source... Example... Using fsx the receiver switch to PCM... Other games like Borderlands, Battlefield 4, Rise of Flight, Cliffs of Dover or DCS the receiver also use PCM with 5.1 surround. When using Powerdvd for blu-ray movies the receiver switch to Dolby or DTS... So as you can see... Everything regarding sound comes from the video card making the sound card useless... Till today.. So far so good... No issues... As Charlie Frost said in the movie 2012... "I have goosebumps people..."

Well... Now I can say I've finish my entertainment center... Instead of the Mythos ST and Supercube I went for KEF speakers... Q300 mains.. Q600 center... Q800ds surrounds... and the best thing... SVS PB-2000 subwoofer... Sounds incredible... specially with the Cerasim B212 - B412, Milviz B407 and PMDG aircrafts... Here is the before and after shot... B) Some others....

I've just finished a massive upgrade for my pc... All I can say is WOW... FSX with a couple of GTX 780 Ti is awesome... First the mess... A little closeup... This 4770K is doing OK @ 4.7GHz and HT... I was scared using the vise method to delid my cpu... but I can tell that is the safest method... Putting everything together... A little light show... The story behind this picture is kind of sad... I was trying to connect a bitspower fitting and guess what... I bent a G1/4 thread of a new Alphacool UT60 360... :( ... So I was forced to put my previous radiator... a Koolance (can't remember the part number) 360 rad... But every story for me should have a happy ending... Weeks later I ordered another UT60 360... and now my upgrade is complete as I wanted... Another light show... Now... My gaming pc complete... A few months from now I'm gonna be switching my 5.1 Z5500 speaker for a home theater with a Pioneer SC-85 receiver and featuring a 5.1 Definitive Technology Mythos ST system and maybe a SuperCube 6000 too... Lots of work... but worth it...

I've posted before in this topic like 1.5 years ago. I've got a new rig because the previous one departed to computer heaven... I've moved from this 980X @ 4.5ghz & ATI 5870HD XFire: To this 8 months later GTX 580 SLI: And now... This is my new baby... i7 4770k @ 4.7ghz but still GTX 580 SLI (hopefully Titan SLI or 800 series in the future)... Enjoy...

Few weeks ago I upgraded my pc after my previous motherboard died on me. Before the 4770k I had a 980X @ 4.5ghz and I can say the difference in FPS is huge. I rather go with a newer/faster OC'd CPU than a newer GPU. My current AA Nvidia Inspector setting is 8xS with 4x Supersampling... Using sceneries like the ones from FSDT or FlightBeam and using the weather preset "major thunderstorm" with Carenado SR22 Cirrus I get 30 FPS... Current settings in P3D are the following... Frames Unlocked - LOD 5.5 - Mesh 10m - Autogen Very Dense - Water Sky, Clouds, Sim Objects - Clouds 90mi... No AI Traffic... everything else in max... This screenshot is form FSDT LAX from runway 25R, weather in "major thunderstorm" and using Carenado Cirrus... (BTW I don't use SLI in P3D... It cuts my FPS by 5 and strutters)...

Uhmm... Well... I guess that there is only one way to answer my question... I bought few moments ago both... Americas and Europe/Africa... When it arrives in about 1 1/2 weeks I'll post some pics comparing it with FSX default and FS Global 2010...If someone have a location request (coordinates and heading) for the comparative screenshots just post it and I'll include them in the pics...Dexter...

Man... I have the same question... I already have FS Global 2010 and I don't know if it makes a noticiable difference... specially in Central and South America... Any comparative pics with FSG2010 will be appreciated...Dexter

I still don't get why people argue about the price of a FS product... If you have the money and you like the product buy it... if you are not planning to buy it or can't afford it then stop filling this post with absurd statements about what should be the price...Please... I just got my T182T from Flight1 and I must say that I'm impressed. I went for a test ride from KMLB to KAPF and later from KSAV to KTLH... I enjoyed the ride very much using the G1000... It's true... it has some glitches in the screens but remember that it's not an official release from the Flight1 website... Now the only planes missing from Flight1 are a 172SP, a Turbo 206H, an Acclaim Type S and a Baron G58... All of them with a T182T/Mustang G1000 quality... Flight1 ---> Modern.... Carenado ---> Old School (which is NOT bad at all)...Dexter

Take a look at Bandicam ( http://www.bandicam.com/ )... I've been using this program for a while and works like a charm... It can record fullscreen or an area selected by the user, take snapshots, it has a FPS limiter that allows you to remove the limiter while running FSX to see your real FPS and then reactivate the limiter without exiting FSX... and above all.... Recording are supersmooth compared with Fraps...BTW... It's payware...Dexter...

Yeap... I'm too an Intel a really excited user... I bought a $1k CPU and oc'd +4GHz on april last year thinking it will be future proof (that's lying to yourself)... 9 months later sandy bridge came out and the 2600k can be easely oc'd to 5GHz at a fraction of the price of my CPU... You should know by now how that makes me feel... Now AMD is releasing a new CPU and apparently is equal or better than SB for a cheaper price... I think we have to wait and see before we rush to conclusions...Dexter...
