When it was released you were able to notice some issues with the autopilot in regard of response and stability. Now after the updates I'm enjoying it a lot. There is a learning curve but once you figure out how it works you'll be a happy camper... If you decide to purchase the heli try flying it from SBJR or SBCB to the numerous oil rigs as shown in Flightradar24.

I'm just curious if there is a way to scale down the size of the runway and taxi lights 3d model in FS2020 or FS2024. They are too big.

I'm an aircraft hoarder so I barely have time to fly them... when flying airliners I try to keep flights within 2 hours with or without time accel... My top choices 2020: SWS Kodiak, Carenado Cessna 185 - WYMF5 - 182Q - 337H, Cowan AS350 - EC130, Asobo ATR, Fenix A32X, PMDG 737, Classic Hangar Klemm KL 25, FreedomFox, Asobo DC3 and Blackbox Islander

It's a good thing that with SU1 a lot of issues and stability problems were fixed... that said... there are a lot of issues with the sceney starting with the amount of trees all the way to satellite imagery. Flying in areas outside NA and Europe the satellite imagery is not as good as 2020 IMO... if you look carefully you will be able to find very low res patches, for example the area around MPCE... That's why I'm sticking with 2020 a little longer.

I've been using Tobii for around 2 years and it works well... but... Just of pure curiosity I bought El Gato Facecam Mk2 webcam and Beam Eye Tracker few days ago to compare them.

My first wireless tracker was from Grass Monkey, and it worked well. The issue is that the device attached to the headband is a bit heavy. Later I discovered Tobii and never looked back. As said before in the forum, if you use a TV as a monitor (as I do) or have a wide one, then you can put it on a mini tripod... works like a charm... On their website, they sell a clip to attach the tracker to a tripod. Here is my setup... it can be adjusted pretty much any way you like..

We need to wait around a year for stuff to be sorted out. Right now 2024 is running effortlessly using in the worst case 31GB of memory and the smoothness is awesome. We'll see if the 64+GB is a must when the marketplace becomes available. (stutters POV).

If other apps have priority over MSFS then you get performance issues... in my case, it was noticeable when panning using the eyetracker and now I don't get those anymore... I think the sweet spot is 48GB... If the plan is to have MSFS with a few planes and stock scenery then 32GB is fine...

KLAX with Fenix A320... 50% AIG and nearby airport sceneries... 52~60 FPS and smooth...

The reason might be the size of the community and official folder in MSFS... I don't use a scenery manager... I'm too lazy for that...

I was about to jump in but decided to wait until it's fully released on their website. That yoke looks like a worthy Honeycomb Alpha replacement. If FSS E-Jet gets a working VNAV that M shape yoke will be perfect.

I switched from 32GB 7200MHz to 96GB 6400MHz @ 6600MHz and completed a flight around KLAX with 50% AIG traffic and sceneries (IniBuilds, etc...)... Using 32GB the memory used was around 28~29GB using the X Cub... as you can see in the screenshot, with 96GB the memory use is higher with less memory paging. The icing on the cake is that I don't get the stutters I had with 32GB... BTW... I don't have other apps open like FSRealistic, SimHaptic, etc... Does anyone know an app that can fix the screenshot with HDR?

Having tons of addons and using AIG traffic on big cities my memory use stays around 28~29GB. I already pulled the trigger for 96GB so I should be fine for a while... if not... then I'm gonna open my youtube channel and use those 96GB on video editing... 😅

Hmmm... 64GB to have an ideal pc to run MSFS24... I just went a step further and ordered 96GB 6400MHz... I guess Christmas came early this year...

That happened to me a couple of times... Just end that flight a relaunch the flight again...

Hi, Just want to know if someone is having this issue too. First load OK... fly from point A to point B... everything is fine... then I end the flight, switch aircraft and boom! the model is corrupted (AI traffic too)... The scenery is fine, no artifacts... I have latest Nvidia driver but this is happening before installing latest driver.

I have been using Tobii Eye Tracker 5 for a while together with Opentrack with great results using MSFS, DCS and IL2. No issues with sunlight behind, a common issue with TrackIR and similar devices. There is a tripod plate in their website so you can use it with virtually any mini tripod with a 1/4" screw.

I think I got the solution. If you are using FSRealistic go to the Effects tab and go to prop wash... In movement there are two options... 'elevator and rudder' and 'fuselage'... disable 'elevator and rudder' and you are good to go...

I'm having the same issue. When it's not moving you can't control elevators and rudder (steering)... everything else is fine.. after you apply power and get to an unknown speed everything works again... I did try using SPAD.NEXT and a control profile within MSFS... no luck... Workaround: If you put MSFS in a windowed mode and click outside the window everything works as it should...

Did anyone have any issues when starting MSFS and selecting the ATR - end flight - select another plane - end flight - and select ATR again. When I select the ATR the first time no issues but the second time after another flight with another plane I'm getting blank screens in the flightdeck and no animations (levers don't move).

DOF reality H3 looks really good... BUT if I were you I probably push it and get the H6... If I can pay $3000 for medium tier, then $5200 + shipping is a no brainer for top tier and have full motion... It's like if I get a Monstertech MFC Chair.. sooner than later I'm gonna wonder what feels like to have a MTS cockpit... I'm not good giving advice... 🤣... but at least I can tell you what I would do...

I jumped from win 8.1 to 10 yesterday and I must say I'm very happy with it. All my addons are working fine (using FSX:SE)... Even the Leveld 767 is working fine (landing light switch struttering continues) ... The only thing I noticed is that it takes a bit more to load textures with lvld.dll loaded to your FSX (need to do more testing)... If you use 4096 textures flying around Orbx PNW with TG KSEA and a PMDG 777 texture loading takes way more time...At the moment I'm using 1024... Using the same scenario sliders to right except water using ASN and without AI traffic everything is very smooth with 24~26 FPS at the runway inside the VC. By the way... Lots of people are complaining about Win 10 windows sizes and big fonts.. That can be fixed.... Go to Display Settings and there is a slider that says 150%... Just move it to 100% and you'll be a happy camper...
