I wonder how the Xbox can manage this game with only 8gb? Chris Camp

I wonder how the Xbox can manage this game with only 8gb? 2024 will be designed first and foremost to run on XBOX optimally as well as other supported platforms. Current PC's can only benefit from this. Running out buying hardware for a broken release is wasting money (this is not FSX). It may make a difference now but in the end for those that save their money 2024 will outperform 2020 when it's all said and done unless you have a PC that has less specs than an XBOX.🫤 Have patience and let Asobo resolve the issues. If just have to spend money I'm taking donations...🤪 Edited December 5, 20241 yr by Dillon FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
December 5, 20241 yr Not sure there is much of a practical benefit of 55 vs 52 fps... Sure it is a bigger number... Pre-loading textures on the other hand could come in handy... but is that not what the Cache is for? Too early to tell. Bert

The route may be more or less standard, but did he clear the rolling cache each time? How? If that's not the case, the 2nd and 3rd pass with increasing RAM would certainly have better 1% lows. Moreover he used a WiFi connection, very bad idea for reproducibility... I doubt that these results have any value. December 6, 20241 yr We need to wait around a year for stuff to be sorted out. Right now 2024 is running effortlessly using in the worst case 31GB of memory and the smoothness is awesome. We'll see if the 64+GB is a must when the marketplace becomes available. (stutters POV). December 6, 20241 yr I would be a little dubious of this article. In my testing 48GB RAM was the most used in what I could find as most extreme which is usually New York or London. The jump from 53 to 56 FPS on 96GB seems to be more related to the fact the tester didn’t clear out their cache before each test and I see NO reference to server connection performance which would need to be monitored along with FPS for any sort of meaningful data since performance is tied to MS servers in the configuration they were using. To be frank, seemed more like a sales pitch with link to 96GB RAM modules to buy. In addition, getting reliable CL30-6000 on 96 RAM modules is going to require a very good motherboard with listed support for said RAM modules at rated speed.
