Easy to forget it's all virtual, and there is no 'distance' in fs world, just collections of files, some of which conflict.

Not quite correct Mark. Each BGL has its area defined by latitude and longitude so there's no way a bona-fide scenery bgl for London City should affect somewhere thousands of miles away. That's why I thought the author should know since anyone who had it installed could be affected.

It was a freeware scenery but I think that the reason was mine as I had done updating for that scenery folder.

Without being in front of your PC and looking at how things were setup it would be difficult to work out what had caused the problem but I'm pleased that you've resolved it.

Bang on about the London City scenery. I had the same problem tonight and disabled the LC Scenery and its ok now. Hoochy,Until the developer of this scenery is told it's causing problems elsewhere people will continue to download it and encounter problems at Seattle.Someone needs to tell him of these problems so he can fix them.
