Featured Replies

I am new to PMDG 747 so forgive my ignorance. I want to set up at an airport but be in a cold strt situation. Using FSX when i select a gate the engine is alway s running but I wnat a dead plane. How do i do this.

Load the "cold & dark" panel state using the PMDG menu at the top of the screen. That should do it.

Some people don't have that bar up all the time. He is talking about the FSX menu bar. It is accessable by right-clicking and un-checking the "Hide Menu Bar." Re-check it to hide when done. Go to "Add Ons / PMDG / Panel State / Load." Pick Cold and Dark for the aircraft model you are flying. I don't have the LCF so check and make sure there isn't a cold and dark for LCF before picking the Cargo or Pax load.

LOL good point Eric. You can also get that menu up top to come and go by using the 'alt' key.As for the panel states, the LCF uses the exact same panel state as the Freighter, so choosing that state is the right call.
