January 27, 201115 yr This is weird. I do not have any third party traffic programs installed. I went into scenery/world/scenery and removed the trafficaircraft.bgl file to eliminate the FSX default traffic from showing. Yet when I get onto FSX the FSX default traffic is still showing. I did a search to see if there was another trafficaircraft.bgl file remaining somewhere and there wasn't. So what the heck? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Any suggestions? Thanks! The traffic file(s) do not have to be in your Scenery/World/scenery subfolder - they can be in any "active" scenery subfolder. Therefore it is posssible that some scenery enhancement you have installed has a traffic file which includes some or all of the default aircraft.Remember also that Traffic files can be named in a variety of ways - the word traffic does not have to be a part of the name. FS does not care how they might be named as FS looks inside the bgl at a "header" to determine what kind of bgl it is.Hope those thoughts are helpful in tracking down the bgl(s) which are causing the default aircraft to display as AI traffic.
