I am getting autogen spikes more frequently now. Using GPU-Z I see my video card temps are 64-69C. That's up to 138 F which Seems way too high to me. The room temp is about 66F. I have a Q6600 @ 3.6, and an 8800 GTX Ultra 768Mb card.1.) what should the temperature be, or a suitable range?I notice my fan is running at 60%, or about 1500rpm.2.) How do I increase the fan speed?Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!Scott

You can use MSI Afterburner, good for all nvidia cards, any brand. But heating up doesn't come from nothing. Dust may collect in fans and heat sinks. You should remove card and inspect it. Bjorn

Thanks, Bjorn!I found out from reading a few hardware forums that temps for that card are quite normal at 64-69, under load. The autogen spikes at the *normal* autogen setting, though, are a bit perplexing. I cleaned out the dust about 4 months ago so that shouldn't be a problem at this point. The card has been in constant use for almost 4 years, so maybe it's just getting tired!??Scott

That's a good stretch for a gpu ;-)B
