February 4, 201115 yr Hi Guys,I have recently put together a new system and have set up two hard drives. On C: drive is Win 7, and I have put fsx on another drive, E: because it is faster. This works fine but when I try to install Acceleration, it doesn't give me a choice of where to find FSX or install--just attempts to install on C: and says I need to have Fsx installed first. This seems like a simple thing but I haven't been able to figure it out! Must be getting late : ) Any help is much appreciated on how to install Acceleration to E: drive, thank you very much.Alex MalekWin 7i7 2600K @ 3.4Ghz6G Ram 3x2GTX 570 AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11
February 5, 201115 yr Author Search for the flight1 registry fix toolHi David,Thanks for the suggestion. I did download and use the tool, but still getting the same error, specifically saying "Acceleration requires English Language version of FSX to be installed first". I definitely have the English language version, just that it's on E: drive, not C:!Any ideas guys? Thanks,Alex Malek AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11

This may be a dumb question, but I was assuming that SP1 is a part of FSX Gold Edition...do I need to install SP1 anyway first and then try the fix?Been doing some researching but unfortunately the fixes aren't working yet...fyi here is my registry entry in the attachment...can anyone verify if this looks correct?Thank you very much!Alex Malek AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11
