February 4, 201115 yr I have just now been dealing with an fmc problem that was never an issue before..why now i'm not sure so hopefully someone can help me..using the number keypad, I don't always have displayed the number key that is pressed. when i press 1,2,3 i get displayed 1,2,3..when i press 4,5 and 6,,,i again have displayed 1,2 and 3....when i press 7,8 and 9..displayed is 4,5 and 6...and there's no way to have displayed 7,8 or 9..... uninstalling and reinstalling hasn't helped..Thanks for any help on this.

I have seen a post about this. I think it is caused by screen resolution or some other display setting.

Also, if you put your cursor toward the bottom of the number, you will get the correct input. The hotpoints for the lower numbers seems too close to the upper numbers if the FMC window is not enlarged. You can also use the keyboard of your computer to enter the information into the FMC. Just click on the black bar on the right of the FMC and the keyboard becomes active. Be sure to unlock it when done or bad things will happen in flight if you have keystrokes assigned to aircraft functions.Jim D.
