February 4, 201115 yr I just reloaded David Maltby's excellent BAC 1-11 and with the 200 model my engines fail on takeoff...I tried the water injection but still the engines failed...can anyone recall the remedy?I was trying to t/o from Las Vegas, not sure if the desert climate was a factor...tks!
February 4, 201115 yr It's indeed a great plane, part of my permanent collection. Without testing this out in the sim i'd recommend against pushing the throttle levers full forward. That's too much stress on the engines no matter if you have water injections on or not. JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI

Use that for take off and climb out and it will prevent the engines from overheatingIanBTW, you are right that this is a truly great freeware product. So is Dave's awesome DH 108 Comet. The Trident is very good too thought it's an older work and not quite as "professional" as the 1-11 and Comet, both of which are payware quality IMHO
