Hello guys i just want to make a short question. In fsx inside fsx.cfg if you put under the section " display " this command :WideViewAspect=Trueyou are getting a view with a lot of wider field of view.I tried this in fs9.cfg but without any succes but i was wondering if there is any other command or any other way to get the same results into fs9 as fsx. Thanks in advance.

Hey,This function is only available in FSX, and not available in FS2004.FlyGuyAlex.

i was wondering if there is any other command or any other way to get the same results into fs9
set the monitor resolution as close to a 'old style square monitor'.- orstay in VC - oruse 2D panels made for widescreen- orcreate your own 2D panels that show correctly for widescreen--

And if your screen is a 16:9 one, reduce zoom to 0.75. FS9 cuts the image above and below, instead of expanding the view. This helps in recovering the lost vertical view field. Ah, and for a 16:10 screen, I think the zoom value is 0.83. This helps more in VC, in 2D you have still to adapt the panel for widescreen, or live with oval gauges. It's easier than you thinkBest regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel
